About the product
Wild evergreen herbaceous plant of the Poaceae family, palmarosa can reach a height of 3 meters. With slender and soft stems,
it's flowers at the top of the plant emits an aroma similar to grass and hay with faint hints of roses. Also nicknamed 'rose grass',
it is native to India and prefers tropical regions with abundant sun, and is now found in countries such as Indonesia, Comoros Island, Madagascar and South America.
Palmarosa are harvested before they bloom, and the plants are completely dry about a week after harvesting, when the yield of distilled essential oil is highest.
Palmarosa is an antipyretic essential oil that balances and helps dissipate heat. It can be used in conjunction with other essential oils such as eucalyptus radiata or eucalyptus globulus to jointly protect against seasonal discomforts.
It can also be used on the abdomen after meals when mixed with base oil at a ratio of 1:1, gently massaging in a circular clockwise manner. It can also be rubbed on the lower abdomen for female care.
The composition of palmrosa essential oil contains trace amounts of geraniol, similar to rose, making it an indispensable oil for skin moisturising, firming, and smoothing wrinkles.
Due to its warming properties, it is often used during chilly weather and in cold climates, to help activate and warm the body similar to ginger essential oil.

How to use : Face : add 1 drop to 10 -15 drops of base oil, and use on face and neck
Body : add 1 drop to 5-10 drops of base oil, and use on chest, stomach, lower abdomen, back. Can also be used with
Comp. Boul. Copahierl or Boulenau lent or ginger essential oil in 1:1 ratio, and use on lower back/ waist or limbs.
Blends well with : % rose, rose geranium, eucalptus radiata, coriander, nutmeg, comp. boul. copahierl or
boulenau lent or ginger essential oil for synergistic effects.
Precautionary advice : a warming essential oils that creates heating sensation when applied directly to skin.
Diluting with a base oil is required for those with sensitive skin.
Pregnant women should avoid contact with the oil.
