About the product

An evergreen shrub of the family Myrtaceae and the genus Melaleuca, and can reach a height of 5 meters. It grows in sandy land

or near the rainforest on the coast of Australia. The plant has vigorous vitality and is also a member of the tea tree family.

The essential oil is distilled and extracted from the branches and leaves, has a strong lemon scent in addition to the herbal aroma typical of tea tree. The scent is pleasant and when breathed in can make respiration a comfortable experience.

Lemon-scented tea tree essential oil provides purification and protection properties. It detoxifies the air and helps protect against cross-contamination, making it a protective essential oil suitable during seasonal changes.

The oil is also often used for home cleaning and hygiene. A few drops can be added to shampoo for cleansing oily hair, or added

to water to wash clothes or clean the floor.

It can also be used to help with repelling insects.

Lemon-scented tea tree essential oil can help protect the body from infections when massaged on areas of the neck and spine before and after surgery, strengthening and assisting with recovery.

The oil can also be used to improve various skin imperfections, including itchy skin, help with alleviating infections of intimate areas, to relieving the discomfort of mosquito and flea bites. It is also a suitable oil for footcare, deodouring and caring for athletes foot.

Suitable for: body, bathing, footcare, vapouriser and diffusers

How to use :  Body : gently apply to small areas as needed, or dilute with carrier oil using a 1:1 ratio for larger areas

                       Bathing : add a few drops to bath water

                       Footcare : add a few drops to foot bath and soak for 15 minutes, or use directly as needed

Blends well with : eucalyptus, bergamot, niaouli, peppermint, lemongrass, cypress and lavender esse ntial  oils to

                              create synergistic effects
