About the product

Chamomile is a perennial plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the United Kingdom and is now also grown in Germany,

France and Morocco. Its flowers and leaves have the aroma of apples. As they are grown on the ground, they are also sometimes nicknamed "earth apples" as they release a stress-relieving atmosphere. People often drink chamomile tea to help them sleep and improve gastrointestinal discomfort caused by stress. In addition, its cooling and antipyretic properties are also beneficial to the skin.

The essential oil is extracted from their flowers. During the distillation process, several components of the plant are mixed with steam to produce azure hydrocarbon (an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic substance) and methyltyrosine, which together assist in supporting stress and skin repair.

Chamomile essential oil is also one of the mildest essential oils and is very suitable for people with sensitive skin types and children.

It is also often added to baby products or adult skin care products and creams to gently care for the skin.

The warm and sweet scent can relieve anxiety and can be used before and after childbirth or surgery to help overcome fear and help with post-operative mood recovery.
