Geraniaceae, genus Geranium, is a perennial herbaceous plant produced in Reunion Island, an overseas department/ region of France.
This radiant island is located in the Southwest Indian Ocean. Its original name was Bourbon Island, which is also the origin of the name Bourbon Geranium.
Bourbon geranium is a close relative of rose geranium. It has the functions of conditioning skin, improving discomfort, helps to activate vitality, and enhance one's physical and mental balance. It can also be used to cleanse and help with body maintenance.
In the past, it was considered a magical medicinal plant, so it was often used to treat wounds. Due to the high content of citronellol and menthone, the oil can be used to help repel mosquitoes.
Usage : face, body, bathing, vapouriser, diffuser
How to use : Face : add 1 drop to 10-15 drops of carrier oil and apply to the face
Body : for small areas can apply directly, or dilute one drop to 5-10 drops of carrier oil and apply to chest,
underarms, stomach, waist, or all over the body.
Bath : add a few drops to bathing water.
Blends well with : rose, jasmine, lavender, rosemary, basil, atlantic cedar, and juniper berry essential oil for
synergistic effects
