Aspic Lavender is a perennial shrub plant of the Lamiaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean coastal areas and prefers the seaside and coastal areas. It's beautiful and distinctive purple-blue flowers are steam distilled to extract essential oils, and are
mostly produced in Spain, Italy and France.
The English name of lavender comes from the Latin word "lavare" meaning cleansing. This may be due to lavender's historic use
for cleaning wounds, and is believed to provide antibacterial and analgesic effects.
Lavender essential oil supports breathing, and improves respiratory discomfort, nasal congestion, headaches, while refreshing
the mind. It can be combined with lemon balm and gently apply to the chest to slow breathing and strengthen body wellness.
It is an indispensable oil in our everyday lives. Its relaxing properties can soothe the stressful pace of our day to day.
Use a few drops of lavender oil for a night time bath, or added to body lotion can improve anxiety induced sleeplessness, and
calms the mind. The oil also can benefit and care for the skin.
The oil can also be added to cotton balls and placed in the wardrobe to prevent insects, and lightly fragances the clothes.

How to use : Body : - apply to chest/ breast, back or other areas as needed
- add a few drops to body lotion or carrier oil and a pply to or massage the body
Bath : add a few drops to warm water for shower or bathing
Blends well with : highland lavender, chamomile roman, bourbon geranium, marjoram, lemon balm,
eucalyptus radiata, peppermint, lemongrass for synergistic effects.
Precautionary advice : During pregnancy do not use excessive amounts nor apply to the abdomen area.
