Basil is an annual herbaceous plant of the Lamiaceae family. It is native to subtropical areas and now grows in Europe, the Pacific Islands, North Africa and other regions.
Basil, also known as Sweet Basil, has large, round leaves with a sweet and spicy grass fragrance. The plant is about 40 cm tall and
has white-purple flowers. Although it is native to subtropical areas, it thrives in the Mediterranean region. Essential oils rich in aroma are extracted from the flowers and leaves, and the oils produced in Europe are often regarded as being the best.
Basil essential oil is beneficial to relieving mental fatigue and pain. Together with peppermint and rosemary, it can help freshen the mind and thoughts.
It is also a good oil for abdominal care. In Italian cuisine, are often used not only for the taste and aroma, but also help with the digestion of food.

How to use : Head : use on small areas of the head. Can be used directly on forehead, temples, back of head.
A gentle massage can help improve effectiveness.
Body : use on small parts of the body, and can be applied directly on abdomen or lower abdomen, joints and limbs.
For larger areas, dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil in 1:10 ratio.
Blends well with : Peppermint, rosemary, compose rafraichissant, nutmeg, fennel, Comp. Boul. Copahierl, yellow birch,
highland lavender, and clary sage for synergistic effects
