About the product
Rutaceae, orange citrus, native to Southeast Asia and widely cultivated in the Mediterranean, especially in the Seville area of
southern Spain.
The tree can reach a height of 10 meters and blooms plump white flowers in late Spring and early Summer that emits a refined
and delicate aroma. Endowed with small, sour and bitter orange-yellow fruit, the tree and oil is hence also commonly called
bitter orange.
Petitgrain essential oil is extracted from unripe fruit, branches and leaves. The oil has a light floral aroma that is citrus and fruity,
with a hint of green bitterness from the leaves.
It's aroma is elegant and has a calming effect, suitable for tired minds, seasonal mood changes, and can also help alleviate sleeplessness, particularly those caused by loneliness and unhappiness.
The main producing areas of petitgrain essential oils are Italy, Spain, Paraguay and France. The oils produced in France is often regarded as one of the best.
The oils can be used to purify and freshen the air, clarify mind, and support aerobic respiration.
It is also an excellent choice for massaging the chest, improving vitality and detoxifying the body and soul.
The essential oil contains the cleasing limonene, which can improve body odor in warmer months, and is also suitable for use on
oily skin to help with imperfections, particularly during teenage years.
Suitable for : face, body, bathing, vapouriser and diffusers
How to use : Face : add 1 drop of essential oil to 1 drop of jojoba oil and apply to areas as needed
Body : dilute with a carrier oil using a 1:1 ratio, and gently massage the chest and stomach area
Bathing : add a few drops to bath water
Blends well with : neroli, sweet orange, bergamot, nutmeg, geranium, ylang ylang, lemon balm, palm rose,
and rosemary essential oils to create synergistic effects
