About the product
An evergreen tree of the genus Syzygium in the family Myrtaceae, native to the Maluku Islands, Indonesia, but now found in Madagascar, the West Indies, the Philippines, and other areas with similar climates. This evergreen tree grows tall like columns
and can reach 9 metres high. It has nail-like red flowers. When the flower buds turn from yellow-green to red, they are harvested manually, and then dried in the sun until it turns into a brown colour. It is then ready to be used as spices and as remedy ingredients.
Dried clove buds are often used to add aroma to cooking and have digestive-aid properties. They are an indispensable table spice and an important component of many curry powders.
Cloves have been widely used in China and India since ancient times, and became popular in Europe in the Middle Ages. Cloves
can often be smelled in traditional dental clinics, as dentists use it to soothe oral pain and other ailments.
Distilling the sun soaked clove buds yields pure and warm clove essential oil, bringing positivity to the mind, helping stimulate memory and clears away dark moods.
Clove essential oil can be used to purify the air. It can help repel mosquitoes in summer and support wellness in Autumn and Winter.
