About the product

The cedar species, pinaceae, is native to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, North Africa. The tall and majestic trees

can grow up to 30 to 50 meters high. 
The needles and cedar fruit stands upright and exudes a faint resinous aroma, somewhat similar to sandalwood.

The essential oil content in the tree is high, and like sandalwood, can repel insects, and exhibits antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Ancient medicines, cosmetics, and perfumes commonly uses cedar aromatics. 

By distilling cedarwood, a rich, scented, golden and visocus essential oil is extracted. The scent of the oil calms the mind and is suitable for meditation or use in the workplace.

Cedarwood Atlas essential oil is also often used to benefit respiration as it exhibits cleansing and drying properties, and is suitable for smokers.

It is an indispensable oil in aromatherapy, can be used with rose geranium to support glands and restores the body. Can be combined with carrot essential oil and gently massage the lower abdomen and waist to relieve urinary discomfort.

The astringent and conditioning properties of Cedarwood Atlas essential oil are beneficial for oily skin, limiting excess sebum and blemishes. Can be used to care for aging scalp.

How to use:Face : apply a drop and spread onto the T zone or blemishes

                       

                       Body : 1. add 1 drop each with rose geranium and carrier oil, and gently massage lymph node  areas such

                                       as armpit and groin

                                   2. add 1 drop each with carrot, juniper, and carrier oil, and gently massage the abdomen,lower abdomen and waist

                                   3. add 1 drop to a tub of warm water for a sitz bath, or add 3 to 5 drops to a bath tub of warm water for bathing

                                   4. add 1 drop each with rosemary and add to shampoo, wash hair as per usual or gently massage then rinse

                                       on parts of oily, thinning scalp

Blends well with: rose geranium, cypress, juniper, carrot, and rosemary essential oil for synergistic effects.
