About the product
Cistus is an evergreen shrub in the rockrose family and can reach a height of 2.5 meters. It is Native to Greece, Spain and the Mediterranean coastal areas, preferring warm, dry places.
The flowers with white wrinkled petals grows in sandy terrains and when Summer comes, the branches and leaves secretes fragrant and sticky resin. At this time, workers will use leather rake to collect the resin and distill into essential oil at low temperatures.
Cistus essential oil has a warm, rich and calming floral fragrance, which can calm frightened or uneasy moods, lifting and inspiring spirits.
It is also an excellent oil for body care and is traditionally used to protect against germs and enhance body's natural defenses. It is also used for cuts, or bites from insects, and can soften and activate the body.

How to use : Face : add 1 drop of essential oil to 5-8 drops of base oil and apply to face. Alternatively, add a drop to face cream
(approximately the size of a 50 cent coin) and apply to face
Body : add 1 drop to ensen or eucalyptus essential oil, and gently rub on chest or back
Cuts : stop the bleeding, add 1 drop with a drop of rose geranium or rosemary essential oil and apply to affected areas
Insect bites : add 1 drop with a drop of celery essential oil and a drop of juniper essential oil, and apply to affected areas
Air : add 1-2 drops with other suitable essential oils and diffuse or vapourise
